Action game Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy has gone gold

Asobo Studio announced that the adventure action game Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy has officially gone gold. This means that development is complete, and the final version of the game is ready for printing and release.

The developers announced this on the official A Plague Tale series account, thanking fans for their support. The studio noted that in just a few weeks, players will be able to embark on a mysterious island with the new main character, Sophia.

The game's events unfold 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem. The main character is a young smuggler named Sophia, who must uncover the mystery of her connection to an ancient curse while exploring a mysterious island.

In addition to a new story, the developers have prepared a system with two timelines, connecting the Middle Ages and the era of the ancient Minoan civilization. Players can also expect more dynamic battles, as well as puzzles based on interaction with the environment.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will be released on August 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
