Roskomnadzor Denies Rumors of EA Sports FC and Battlefield 6 Blocking in Russia
Players once again cannot connect to their favorite game servers.
In July, fans of Electronic Arts online games once again began to complain about connection problems to servers from Russia. For example, projects such as EA Sports FC 26, UFC 6, and the shooter Battlefield 6 were unavailable. Some suggested that this might be due to Roskomnadzor's blocking.
In a comment to "TASS", a representative of Roskomnadzor stated that the regulator said that no blocking is being carried out. Only two specific games from the Electronic Arts portfolio were mentioned in the comment:
Roskomnadzor does not restrict access to EA Sports FC and Battlefield 6 games.
This is not the first time that users from Russia have faced problems when trying to connect to online games, including Electronic Arts projects.
Earlier, Battlefield 6 received the final update of the third season, which added new content to the game, a mechanic in the style of Call of Duty: Ghosts (a contract system that drops from enemies during a match), as well as a small mini-battle pass with rewards that can be unlocked by completing challenges.
