The fifth promotional video for the new anime adaptation of Masamune Shirow's cult manga "The Ghost in the Shell" has appeared online. The new video does not contain new footage but allows viewers to hear an excerpt of the series' opening theme – the song GO GHOST performed by the Japanese band King Gnu.
Science SARU studio is responsible for the production. The director is Moko-chan, who previously worked as an assistant director for the first season of "Dandadan." The script was written by Enjo Toh ("Godzilla Singular Point"), and character designs were prepared by Shuhei Handa ("Scott Pilgrim Takes Off"). The musical score is created by Taisei Iwasaki, Ryo Konishi, and Yuki Kanesaka.
The anime premiere is scheduled for July 7. On the same day, "Ghost in the Shell" will launch in Japan and on Prime Video for international audiences, and in Russia, it will be available on Kinopoisk. The Russian dubbing was prepared by NDA Studio, and the voice of Motoko Kusanagi was provided by Eva Filkenstein.
