Catastrophe is Inevitable: Final Trailer for "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War" Released

At Anime Expo 2026, Viz Media unveiled the final trailer for the anime "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity." This is the fourth and final cour, which will completely conclude the adaptation of Tite Kubo's cult manga.

The new video showcases battles featuring Yoruichi, Aizen, Kenpachi, and Urahara, and also allows listeners to hear the musical themes of the final chapter. The opening theme "I-BULL" was performed by musician jo0ji, known for the song "Yoake no Uta" from the third season of "Jujutsu Kaisen," while the ending theme "Rasen" was recorded by singer 9Lana. According to Tite Kubo, he personally participated in selecting the performers, aiming to introduce new names to fans.

Production is still handled by Studio Pierrot under the PIERROT FILMS brand. Tomohisa Taguchi remains the chief director, Hikaru Murata is in charge of episode direction, Masashi Kudo is responsible for character design, and Shiro Sagisu is once again composing the music. Kubo also previously promised that the final part would feature even more original scenes, significantly expanding on the events of the manga's concluding chapters.

The show will be streamed internationally on Disney+ and Hulu.
