Culinary Masterpieces from Monsters: "Delicious in Dungeon" Season Two Gets Release Date and First Poster

The continuation of the culinary fantasy will return to screens in autumn 2027.

During Anime Expo 2026, Studio TRIGGER officially announced the premiere date for the second season of the anime "Delicious in Dungeon" (Dungeon Meshi). The continuation of the culinary fantasy will be released on Netflix in October 2027. Along with the announcement, the creators presented the first poster for the upcoming season:

The same creative team is working on the continuation. Yoshihiro Miyajima is once again directing, Kimiko Ueno is responsible for the script, Naoki Takeda is overseeing character design, and Yasunori Mitsuda is composing the music.

The project is based on Ryoko Kui's manga, which consists of 14 volumes. The story follows a young adventurer, Lai, and his party, who suffer a crushing defeat from a red dragon on the lower levels of a dungeon. Having lost all supplies, money, and one of their team members, the heroes decide to return to rescue their comrade. To avoid starving on the way, Lai devises a crazy plan — to cook and eat the monsters they encounter: from slimes and basilisks to dragons themselves.
