Hunting Rathalos in a Zombie World: Resident Evil Survival Unit Kicks Off Monster Hunter Crossover

Monsters from Monster Hunter have gone hunting for survivors in Raccoon City.

A temporary event based on Monster Hunter has launched in the mobile strategy game Resident Evil Survival Unit. As part of the crossover, legendary monsters from Monster Hunter, including Rathalos and Yian Kut-Ku, have appeared in the game. Players can fight them in a special co-op mode with friends or random players. In addition, the developers have added a mini-game where players can cook food on a grill, and successful completion of which can earn valuable rewards.

In addition to new in-game activities, users will be able to unlock several characters from the Monster Hunter universe for free, as well as receive exclusive themed cosmetics.

The collaboration started on July 2 and will last until July 29, 2026.
