Cutscenes from the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced remake compared to the original game

New gameplay footage of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced recently appeared online. GameSpot journalists reviewed the footage and decided to compare it with the original AC IV: Black Flag.

They invited players to see how the cutscenes have changed in the remake. For comparison, footage from the PS4 version of the original and the remake on the PS5 Pro console were used. Character animations differ slightly.

The differences are not only visual; the remake's developers have prepared various gameplay improvements — combat system, parkour, and more:

Combat has become more dynamic – parries and eliminations now play a key role; stealth and parkour have been improved, in particular, it has become easier to escape from enemies and perform quick kills. Many upgrades are available for the “Jackdaw” to help it withstand battles with mighty enemy ships; the improved naval combat system includes alternative firing modes.
