According to Variety, Spooky Pictures and Image Nation Studios have teamed up to produce a new film, "V/H/S: SCP". The picture will be another installment of the horror anthology "V/H/S" and the first full-length film based on the lore of the SCP Foundation, a collaborative internet project launched in 2008.
The film will be produced by Roy Lee ("It", "Barbarian"), Steven Schneider ("Paranormal Activity", "Insidious"), as well as "V/H/S" franchise producers Josh Goldbloom and Michael Schreiber.
Like previous films in the series, "V/H/S: SCP" will be presented in a "found footage" format. Each novella within the anthology will be a declassified video report or archival material from the SCP Foundation — an organization that, within the fictional universe, researches and contains dangerous anomalous objects, creatures, and phenomena.
The world premiere of "V/H/S: SCP" is scheduled for 2027.
