The second season of the fantasy anime "Clewatess: The King of Demonic Beasts, the Infant, and the Undead Hero" has premiered on Crunchyroll. So far, only the first episode out of 12 is available to viewers, and for the premiere, the creators also presented a new poster.
The anime's plot, based on Yuji Iwahara's manga, tells the story of the powerful King of Demonic Beasts, Clewatess. Enraged by humanity, he decides to destroy people but unexpectedly takes a newborn child into his care. Now, Clewatess, along with the warrior Alicia whom he resurrected, must care for the infant and try to understand the complex nature of humans.
In the sequel, the main character goes to a closed educational institution for sorcerers, where he hopes to find a mysterious magic book and uncover the secrets associated with it.
The project is once again produced by Lay-duce studio. Kiyotaka Taguchi retained the director's chair, Keigo Koyanagi ("The Rising of the Shield Hero") is responsible for the script, Soichiro Sako is in charge of character design, and Nobuaki Nobusawa ("Steins;Gate 0") is once again composing the music.
