Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and indie developer Mike Klubnika announced the release of the horror game Buckshot Roulette on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Microsoft Store). The game also became available to Game Pass subscribers. The project costs $2.99 in the Microsoft Store.
Buckshot Roulette is an unusual interpretation of Russian roulette, where a 12-gauge shotgun is used instead of a revolver. Players will have to fight the mysterious Dealer in a gloomy underground club, using various items that can change the course of the game and increase their chances of survival.
The Xbox version includes all current content, including a multiplayer mode for 2–4 players, which appeared on Steam thanks to a free update last year. Players also have access to new powerful items that can drastically change the situation in each round.
Buckshot Roulette was originally released on Steam in 2024, where it quickly gained popularity. The project received 85 points on Metacritic, was nominated for The Indie Game Awards and The Horror Game Awards, and its total sales to date have exceeded 4 million copies.
