Actor Walton Goggins announced the start of filming for the third season of the Fallout series. The actor who plays Cooper Howard (the Ghoul) posted a photo from the makeup chair on social media with the caption "Back in the saddle" and showed the laborious process of transforming into the Ghoul, which takes several hours daily.
The official accounts of the series and the production company Kilter Films, founded by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, reposted the publication, confirming the start of production.
Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Kyle MacLachlan will return to their roles in the new season. The cast has also been joined by Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad"), Emily Mortimer ("The Newsroom"), Manny Jacinto ("The Acolyte"), and Thomasin McKenzie ("Jojo Rabbit"). The roles of the new cast members and plot details for the third season are currently being kept secret.
The premiere of the third season of Fallout is expected in the second half of 2027.
