Fans of Necrons from the Warhammer 40,000 universe and the novel “The Infinite and the Divine”, dedicated to such eternal rivals as Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner, have a big celebration today.
Black Library and author Robert Rath have announced the book “The Wicked and the Warped”. In this sequel to the aforementioned novel, two incredibly ancient Necrons clash in an unending struggle for possession of an ancient artifact.
This is a unique story: their bitter feud has overturned the fates of entire planets for thousands of years, including clashes with Exodite armies, Xenos uprisings, and even proceedings in a minor Necron court.
In the sequel, Trazyn finds himself in an unusual position. The opening of the Great Rift gives him a chance to mend his strained relationship with the embittered Orikan and discover the fate of a long-lost expedition to the Chaos-tainted planet Amentis.
However, anything related to Chaos is never simple, and the horrors they discover may have far more serious consequences than either could have imagined. The new novel will be released in a luxurious special edition befitting its status, as well as in a standard hardcover. In addition, “The Infinite and the Divine” will return to sale in hardcover simultaneously with the new release.
