After numerous postponements, the creators of the fantasy action film "Legend of the White Dragon" have finally announced the premiere date and unveiled the official trailer for the movie.
The plot tells the story of Erik Reed – a fugitive hero who is forced to hide after past events. To return to his family, he must clear his name, but a mysterious villain obsessed with the idea of destroying the White Dragon forever stands in his way.
The film became the last on-screen appearance of Jason David Frank, who passed away in 2022. The actor was one of the main icons of the "Power Rangers" franchise: during his career, he appeared in 257 episodes of the series. Frank debuted in 1993 as the original Green Ranger, and later also wore the costumes of the White, Red, and Black Rangers.
Along with Frank, the film also stars his "Power Rangers" colleagues Jason Faunt, Cerina Vincent, and Ciara Hanna, as well as Mark Dacascos, Michael Madsen, and the actor's daughter Jenna Rae Frank. In some cinemas, special screenings will be accompanied by a video message from Jenna Rae to fans.
The premiere of "Legend of the White Dragon" in international distribution will take place on August 28, 2026.
