The American Television Academy announced the list of nominees for the 78th Emmy Awards. The second season of Amazon's Fallout series received 10 nominations. For comparison, the debut season of the show in 2024 was nominated for 16 awards and ultimately won two.
As with the first season, the project received expert recognition primarily for its outstanding visual and technical aspects. The continuation was noted for costume and hair design, prosthetic makeup, sound mixing, and stunt coordination in various episodes. Separately, the Television Academy highlighted the interactive project The World of Fallout in the “Outstanding New Media Program” category.
However, the series once again received no acting nominations, despite many being confident that Walton Goggins would definitely be on the list of contenders for his performance as the Ghoul this time.
Meanwhile, the creators are already working on the third season of Fallout. Walton Goggins recently shared a photo from the set, showing the process of applying his character's makeup on the first day of production.
