Marvel Studios has officially confirmed its return to the famous "Hall H" at San Diego Comic-Con. This is traditionally where the studio's biggest presentations take place. For example, in 2024, Marvel announced from the Hall H stage the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the cinematic universe as Doctor Doom. Therefore, there is now active discussion online that the main event of the current panel could be a full trailer for the film "Avengers: Doomsday."
According to insiders, the trailer will be shown to attendees directly from the stage, after which it may be screened in cinemas before the blockbuster "Spider-Man: A New Day," which will be released a week after Comic-Con. However, it is currently unknown whether Marvel will release the trailer online immediately or keep it exclusive to festival guests for some time.
In addition to the main film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, on July 23, Hall H will host a separate presentation of Marvel's Wolverine by Insomniac Games, where developers will share new details and show exclusive gameplay. In addition, attendees can expect panels dedicated to the fighting game MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the hero shooter Marvel Rivals, the animated series "X-Men '97," and other projects.
San Diego Comic-Con will take place from July 23 to July 26. The world premiere of "Avengers: Doomsday," directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is scheduled for December 18, 2026.
