Games Workshop employees have revealed some items that will be available in retail stores in the USA, Germany, and Australia (users from other countries will apparently have to use reseller services to get them).

Expect the arrival of Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus – The Miniatures Game. Based on the mobile tactical RPG strategy Warhammer 40,000, this miniatures board game is a fast-paced duel between two teams of three warriors – Space Marines and Death Guard – fighting in an arena modeled after the original game.

The rules are easy to learn and will allow gamers to start almost immediately after assembling the six miniatures (no glue required), and a detailed instruction booklet covers everything from model assembly to the first games. As a bonus, users will be able to unlock a new hero in the mobile version of Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus – Veteran Sergeant Ramus, who will be available for the first time via a code from the box.

Also expected is a beginner set called Warhammer 40,000: Beginner Set. Inside, you will find 12 glue-free miniatures (6 Space Marines and 6 Orks), as well as a 32-page booklet detailing the grimdark future universe, the forces you will command, and rules for quick introductory games. In addition, the box contains a measuring ruler, dice, a game mat, and a set of foldable cardboard terrain.

Furthermore, a re-release of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – Battle in Balin's Tomb will be available. This two-player game allows you to recreate the iconic battle in Balin's Tomb from "The Fellowship of the Ring." The box contains miniatures of the members of the Fellowship of the Ring, 12 Moria Goblins, and a mighty Cave Troll.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus – The Miniatures Game will first appear in Target stores in the USA, followed by Germany and Australia. The Warhammer 40,000: Beginner Set and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – Battle in Balin's Tomb game will go on sale in select retail stores in the USA, Germany, and Australia later in 2026.
