Steam users have discovered a new "Great on Frame" category, reminiscent of the "Great on Deck" labeling created for Steam Deck. This could be another hint at the imminent announcement of the Steam Frame headset.
The new category includes only five games: Portal 2, Aperture Hand Lab, The Lab, Titan Isles, and Into Black. The latter two are notable because they were not developed by Valve. It seems the company is collaborating with third-party studios preparing projects for the new device.
An additional hint is an empty section for future games, which may indicate the formation of a library of compatible projects. According to previous rumors, Steam Frame is expected to be released in the summer of 2026. Recently, large batches of devices have begun arriving in the US, which may indicate the launch of mass production.
According to insiders, Steam Frame will feature a wireless design and PC image streaming technology via a special transmitter. Foveated streaming support is also expected, where eye tracking allows for improved image quality and performance.
