MobileGamer.biz shared the June ranking of the most downloaded mobile games, compiled based on data from the analytical platform AppMagic. The main trend of early summer was the rapid spread of a new subgenre – the so-called "arrow" puzzles, which generate tens of millions of downloads.
The overall leader was Arrows: Puzzle Escape by Miniclip, which was downloaded 25.3 million times in a month. Amaze Go by Learnings studio was slightly behind with 23.2 million installations (in June, the game changed its name from Arrows Go). In addition, another puzzle with similar mechanics, Arrow Puzzle by Easybrain, a studio owned by Miniclip, was in fifth place with 16.4 million downloads.
Between them were Free Fire Max and Roblox. Garena's battle royale garnered 22.7 million installations, and Roblox rebounded after a recent decline, rising to fourth place with 19.1 million.
Against this backdrop, the former multi-month chart leader Block Blast by Hungry Studio is experiencing a prolonged decline. The game has been losing audience for the third consecutive month: if in March it was downloaded more than 26 million times, in June the figure decreased to 13.9 million.
Separately, analysts note the strong growth of football simulators, which received a powerful boost in attention against the backdrop of the World Cup. Four projects simultaneously soared in the charts: Soccer Superstar (12th place, 9.7 million), EA Sports FC Mobile (13th place, 9.6 million), Football League 2026 (15th place, 9.4 million), and eFootball (18th place, 8.8 million).
