Russian cinemas are allegedly being asked to clear two weeks of screenings for a domestic fairy tale.

The unofficial release of the film "Spider-Man: A New Day" in Russia may be postponed by two weeks for the fairy tale "The Last Bogatyr. Kolobok". Initially, cinemas planned to start screenings with pre-show service on August 6 – the same day the film becomes available in Kazakhstan, but now venues are being asked to wait until August 20.

A screenshot of an alleged mailing to cinema representatives is circulating in Russian Telegram channels. According to the message, partners are asked to support a joint initiative of Atmosfera Kino and the Association of Cinema Owners, designed to ensure the "maximum success" of the new film in "The Last Bogatyr" universe.

The authenticity of the message itself has not yet been officially confirmed: the published screenshot lacks the sender's name, signature, and company details. Atmosfera Kino and the Association of Cinema Owners have not publicly commented on the initiative. However, the premiere of "The Last Bogatyr. Kolobok" was indeed moved a week earlier – from August 13 to August 6, which coincides with the alleged changes in the schedule of the unofficial release of "Spider-Man: A New Day".
