The box office prospects for "Supergirl" are becoming increasingly grim. In its third weekend in North America, the film earned only $3.56 million, a 58.6% drop from the previous week's result – and in its second weekend, the film faced a devastating 76.8% drop in revenue compared to its opening weekend. Simultaneously, "Supergirl" began to be actively pulled from distribution: over a thousand cinemas in North America have already stopped showing it, and the film is currently playing in 2584 theaters, each of which brought in an average of $1377.
In total, over three weeks, the film has grossed approximately $66 million in North America and another $49.4 million in international markets. Total worldwide gross reached $115.4 million – significantly below production and promotion costs. According to preliminary estimates, the film's budget was about $170 million, and the marketing campaign cost the studio another approximately $120 million.
Analysts estimate that the film's disastrous run could result in losses for Warner Bros. ranging from $100 million to $120 million. This forecast is based on the assumption that "Supergirl"'s worldwide gross will reach $200 million. However, with the current box office dynamics, even such a result does not seem guaranteed.
