Kane Parsons' horror film "Backrooms of Reality" has been digitally released. The film appeared on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and other international platforms 46 days after its premiere in American cinemas.
The digital edition includes the standard version of the film. A24 did not announce the inclusion of the 16-minute short film that was shown after the credits of the special edition "Everything Must Go". Earlier, Kane Parsons promised to separately publish the bonus material on YouTube within the current week.
"Backrooms of Reality" was released in American cinemas on May 29 and grossed over $366 million worldwide, setting a new record for A24 films. Kane Parsons also became the youngest director whose debut film topped the North American box office: he was 20 years old at the time of the film's release, and a few weeks later, on June 18, the director celebrated his 21st birthday. In Russia, the film was released on June 5, and on July 9, an extended version with additional material after the credits began showing in cinemas.
