The Duskbloods Closed Network Test Starts in August

FromSoftware has not yet announced the exact release date for its new project.

Nintendo has announced the dates for the closed network test of The Duskbloods — a new multiplayer action game from FromSoftware, which will be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. The tests will take place from August 21 to August 24, 2026.

Applications for participation will be open starting July 22. Players will need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription to access the test.

Game session schedule (Moscow time):

• August 21 — from 13:00 to 17:00
• August 22 — from 03:00 to 07:00 and from 19:00 to 23:00
• August 23 — from 11:00 to 15:00
• August 24 — from 03:00 to 07:00

Developers first spoke about the network test during the Nintendo Direct presentation in June 2026, where a new game trailer was also shown.

In The Duskbloods, players will take on the role of the Bloodsworn and fight both against and alongside other players. Up to eight people can participate in matches simultaneously. Each character will have unique weapons and abilities, and a key feature will be the use of blood powers that change the combat style and appearance of the hero. The main goal is to seize a mysterious power known as the First Blood.
