AdHoc Studio announced that the superhero adventure comedy Dispatch will be available on Xbox Series and PC via the Microsoft Store on July 29.
The game debuted on October 22, 2025, on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, followed by a release for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on January 29, 2026.
Dispatch is a story-driven adventure with elements of strategy and humor, created by the developers of Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us. The events unfold in modern Los Angeles, where the player takes on the role of Robert Robertson, known as Mecha Man.
After his combat suit is destroyed in a battle with his arch-nemesis, the hero is forced to leave the battlefield and take a job as a dispatcher at a superhero coordination center. Instead of personally participating in battles, he must lead a team of former supervillains undergoing rehabilitation, restore relationships within the team, and gradually assemble a new suit to one day return and take revenge on his opponent.
Dispatch combines interactive storytelling, strategic elements, and comedic delivery, exploring the theme of heroism from an unusual perspective – showing that you can save the city not only in a cape but also from behind a dispatcher's desk.
