Playstack announced that it might not be able to meet the demand for the exclusive physical edition of Mortal Shell II Revered Edition for PlayStation 5. According to the developers, the stock of this version has already been fully reserved by several major retailers, which means that in an increasing number of regions, players can no longer pre-order it.
There is just over a month left until the release of Mortal Shell 2 on August 20, but the developers warn that the likelihood of a new batch of physical copies appearing before the game's release is extremely low. The reason for this is the production and delivery times for new discs, which do not allow for quick replenishment of stock.
Playstack stated that, together with its distribution partner, it continues to analyze current demand and will announce further actions later. At the same time, the studio emphasized that it cannot guarantee the release of an additional print run even after the release, as the final decision is not made by them.
The developers also apologized to players who had hoped to pre-order the Revered Edition but encountered a lack of available copies in their region.
