There are two weeks left until the international premiere of "Spider-Man: A New Day," and it turns out that viewers may have been misinterpreting its title all this time. In the Disney+ documentary project "Generations: The Evolution of Spider-Man," Tom Holland revealed that the true meaning of the subtitle will only be revealed at the very end of the film.

"The 'New Day' in this film doesn't happen at the beginning – it's contained in the very last shot."

Previously, during the film's presentation at CinemaCon, the actor referred to "A New Day" as a symbol of a new stage in Peter Parker's life after the finale of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," when Doctor Strange's spell made the whole world forget about Peter's existence, leaving the hero without friends and his former life. However, it has now been revealed that the new stage promised by the title, according to Holland, will only begin after the main events of the film.

The international premiere of "Spider-Man: A New Day" is scheduled for July 31, 2026.
