GaGa Games publishing house announced that the next pre-order will be the board card game "Golden Age" (Rising Cultures). In this project, participants will lead one of four asymmetric nations: Rome, Persia, Egypt, or the Abbasid Caliphate.
Each of them has its own characteristics and advantages. Players will have exactly 24 cards in their deck and four development paths to try to realize their full potential and turn a small settlement into a prosperous civilization.
Each turn, players will have to make difficult decisions, as all cards seem indispensable. In spirit, "Golden Age" is similar to "7 Wonders: Duel." Both games are dedicated to the development of civilizations, designed for two players, and last less than an hour.
In "7 Wonders," tactics are largely built around available cards and the opponent's decisions, which often determine which scale of superiority the player will strive to advance. "Golden Age," on the other hand, focuses on an asymmetric deck, allowing players to build their own engine that develops and collapses along with the civilization.
In the near future, GaGa Games employees will share additional information about this board game and the upcoming campaign.
