Watch Dogs will not be released on Switch 2 - insider crushed fans' hopes

Insider Billbil-kun debunked rumors about the release of Watch Dogs Dedsec Collection on Nintendo Switch 2, proving that the collection's cover is a fake without Ubisoft logos.

It seems the Watch Dogs series will remain forgotten on Ubisoft's shelf for now. Recently, rumors appeared online that the franchise's games might get a portable version for Nintendo Switch 2.

The reason was a product card in an online store, where Watch Dogs Dedsec Collection for Nintendo Switch 2 allegedly appeared. Insider Billbil-kun checked the information.

He believes that the image with the collection's cover turned out to be a fake. The insider drew attention to the absence of the developer and publisher's logo – an element that Ubisoft always places on physical editions of its games.

Another sign of error was also found. The link to the deleted product page contained a product code that led not to Watch Dogs Dedsec Collection, but to the recently announced version of The Crew Motorfest for Nintendo Switch 2.
