Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Xbox will look best on Sony's console

Although Activision is now owned by Microsoft, the new installment in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 series could become one of the main demonstrations of the PS5 Pro console's capabilities.

The developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 have confirmed that the game uses the technologies of Sony's enhanced console version. This is another example in the modern gaming industry where a Microsoft project receives maximum benefits on a competitor's device.

PS5 Pro owners can expect support for the updated image upscaling technology PSSR 2.0. The game will offer sharper graphics and increased detail in both 60 and 120 frames per second modes.

When 120 Hz mode and VRR technology are enabled, the frame rate limit will be removed, providing smoother gameplay and faster response in online battles.

The standard PS5 will also receive support for DualSense features – adaptive triggers and advanced haptic feedback. A power-saving mode will also be added.

However, it is the PS5 Pro version that is expected to be the most technologically advanced and spectacular among the console variants of the game.
