Netflix Announces Mini-Golf Based on "Stranger Things," "Squid Game," and Other Series

The streaming giant continues to explore the home party game segment.

Netflix has announced Netflix Minigolf — a local co-op game for TVs based on "Stranger Things," "Squid Game," "Bridgerton," and other series from the platform. Players can expect 60 levels combining mini-golf with pinball elements.

All of them are designed in the style of popular streaming service shows, and the courses will feature thematic decorations, obstacles, and characters. Additionally, participants will be able to use "pranks" — special abilities that allow them to interfere with opponents during their turn.

Up to four people can play simultaneously. To connect, simply scan the QR code on the TV screen and use a smartphone as a controller.

The release will take place on July 28 on devices supporting the Netflix Games for TV catalog. An active subscription to the service will be required to launch.
