Bandai Namco Entertainment has released the free-to-play idle-RPG Digimon UP on iOS and Android. The new title combines elements of an RPG and a virtual pet. Users will choose their Digimon, feed it, train it, and develop its characteristics to participate in automatic battles.
As they progress, digital creatures go through classic Digivolution stages, gradually reaching their ultimate form – Mega. In addition to raising pets, the game features collectible card game elements and the ability to collect Digivices from other franchise projects.
Digimon UP is distributed under a free-to-play model and contains in-app purchases, advertisements, and loot boxes with random rewards. By the time of release, the number of pre-registrations had exceeded one million. In honor of this, the developers have prepared starting gifts for all players, including Gekkomon, Numemon, as well as Tai Yagami with Agumon.
