Processors for Mangmi Air Y and Air Y Pro handheld consoles revealed

Today, Mangmi announced which processors will be found in the vertical handheld consoles Air Y and Air Y Pro. The first device will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor – the exact same chip that was installed in last year's Mangmi Air X.

With it, you can count on confident game launches up to PSP, Dreamcast and similar, as well as minimal GameCube emulation – depending on how much the gamer is willing to tinker with the settings. Based on this, it can be assumed that the price of Air Y will be at the level of Air X (around eight thousand rubles).

And the Mangmi Air Y Pro will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor – the same one used in the larger Pocket Max handheld console. This chip easily emulates PS2 at increased resolution and is capable of delivering maximum framerate in many Android games.

In addition, in the newly published image, the team for the first time showed the top edge of one of the devices. There you can see an SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, and a USB-C port, probably for charging and video output.

At the moment, users still have to learn only a few key details from Mangmi regarding Air Y and Air Y Pro: the amount of RAM and internal storage, the price, and delivery times.
