Ubisoft marks new sales milestone for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced - celebratory promo art unveiled
Developers plan to add a new mode to the game.
On July 9, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced was released on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles, as well as PC. Just over a week has passed, and Ubisoft Entertainment has marked a new milestone.
At launch, it was announced that the game's circulation had surpassed two million copies, and recently, the developers reported three million copies sold of the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag remake.
The developers thanked the community for their support, unveiled new promo art to celebrate this sales milestone, and also announced work on a New Game+ mode:
Yo-ho-ho! Over 3 million copies sold across all seas... A huge thank you to each of you for playing and for sharing your tales of Caribbean adventures. I suppose we'll continue these adventures later – in New Game+ mode.
At launch, some players criticized Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on PC via Steam – there were complaints about Ubisoft Entertainment's services, the monetization system (the cost of all DLC exceeded the price of the game), and not everyone accepted the changes. However, over time, the situation began to improve, and this weekend the game has "mostly positive" reviews, with a rating of 76%.
