The Blood of Dawnwalker will be released fully ready on disc for PS5 and Xbox Series X - without a mandatory day one patch. The PC version will be available via an activation code on Steam.

Rebel Wolves confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker will be released fully ready on day one. Owners of physical editions on consoles will not have to download a mandatory day one patch.

Earlier, the developers announced the completion of the main production stage of the game, noting that this does not mean the end of work on the project.

Game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will contain the full game on disc. All data, including the launch update, will be written to the physical media, so no additional files will need to be downloaded after installation.

However, the physical edition will only be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The PC version will come with an activation code on Steam.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is scheduled for release on September 3, 2026.
