GTA V Modder Implements Full-Fledged Escapable Prison - Fans Want This Mechanic in GTA VI

An enthusiast proposed an interesting idea that fits well with the game's concept.

A modder known as XmanStudios has introduced a project for Grand Theft Auto V that adds prison-related gameplay. If the main characters commit crimes and get caught (are arrested or shot), they will end up in prison.

The character will wake up in Bolingbroke Penitentiary, and the duration of their sentence will be tied to their wanted level at the time of capture.

The hero will be transported to prison by bus. Strict rules apply inside this correctional facility: if you fight with other inmates during yard time, guards will beat the hero and throw them into a cell.

However, players can be cunning and stage a daring prison break. For example, they can try to steal a police car and drive away.

The "Jailbreak" modification for Grand Theft Auto V is publicly available on "gta5-mods". Some players, like Crazyboy4881, believe that such gameplay should be added to GTA VI.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released in November of this year, currently only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Rockstar Games has not yet announced the release date for the PC version of the game.
