Battlefield 6 developers revealed the roadmap for the fourth season - new weapons, locations, and other content
Additional game modes, a new version of a classic map from Battlefield 1942, and other content will be available soon.
The developers of the shooter Battlefield 6 are preparing for the start of the next season. Recently, Battlefield Studios and Electronic Arts presented the content roadmap.
The fourth season of Battlefield 6 is scheduled to start on July 21. As usual, all content is divided into several updates. First, the Pacific Front update will be released, which will introduce the new map Tsuru Reef. It will become the largest battlefield in the game:
This brand-new map for the Battlefield series features a key NATO base, jointly operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, which is now under siege by Pax Armata. You'll find a luxurious resort, a dormant volcano, and vast maritime expanses, perfect for naval battles. This archipelago is an ideal theater of war, supporting both large-scale battles and tactical modes.
The update also includes naval vehicles, the EF88 assault rifle, the BROD 3 carbine, and the VSSM DRM (rifle).
On August 18, the Top Gun update is expected to be released. The game will feature the Wake Island map, which was first introduced in Battlefield 1942. It was then recreated in Battlefield V, and now the developers have re-imagined this version for Battlefield 6, taking into account its scale and gameplay mechanics.
A game mode with aerial combat, new weapons, and aircraft models will also be available.
On September 15, Tidal Strike will be released with a new event and challenges, a melee weapon (diver's knife), and REDSEC will feature secrets and proximity chat.
