Marvel Studios has released the first full trailer for "Avengers: Doctor Doom." The two-and-a-half-minute video offers the first detailed look at Victor von Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., and shows the clash of heroes from different cinematic universes.
The footage shown partially matches the trailer description that previously appeared online. The video shows a meeting between Thor, the new Avengers, and the Fantastic Four, as well as several battles: Shang-Chi against Gambit and Yelena Belova against Mystique, who takes on her appearance. The trailer also features a scene where Thor tries to attack Doctor Doom with Stormbreaker, but he stops the enchanted axe with just two fingers. In another episode, a returned Steve Rogers summons Mjolnir, proving to a stunned Thor that it is indeed his old friend.
The trailer appeared earlier than expected. Its premiere was anticipated on July 25 at the Marvel Studios presentation during Comic-Con in San Diego, but the company released the video on July 20 — simultaneously with the start of early ticket sales in the USA. For now, seats can be reserved for individual screenings in cinemas certified under the premium Infinity Vision program.
"Avengers: Doctor Doom" will premiere on December 18, 2026.
