Avengers: Endgame Re-release to Be Seven Minutes Longer - New Scenes Will Connect the Film to Avengers: Doctor Doom
The Russo brothers filmed new material specifically for the blockbuster's return to cinemas.
Text: The theatrical re-release of "Avengers: Endgame," titled "Avengers: Endgame Encore," will be seven minutes longer than the original 2019 version. This was reported by insider Cryptic4KQual, who previously published reliable information about Marvel projects.
“I'm hearing that Avengers: Endgame Encore will have a new intro, additional scenes, and the final episode will directly lead into 'Avengers: Doctor Doom.' Take this with a grain of salt, but I'm also told the version will be seven minutes longer than the original.”
If this information is confirmed, the runtime of the new version will be 188 minutes. Marvel Studios has not yet confirmed the duration of the new material. However, director Joe Russo previously stated that the team did film scenes for the re-release related to the plot of "Doctor Doom" and called the new version a "critically important addition" to the next "Avengers." According to the director, the new scenes should remind viewers of the consequences of time travel and the fate of Steve Rogers.

"Avengers: Endgame" will return to international cinemas on September 25, 2026. The premiere of "Avengers: Doctor Doom" will take place on December 18, 2026.
