A sci-fi strategy game with factions and dialogue trees inspired by Mass Effect and Baldur's Gate has been released on Steam

The creators of ZeroSpace intend to gradually develop their project.

In July, Starlance Studios and Ironward introduced the ZeroSpace project on PC via Steam in "early access" format. The new title is positioned as a hybrid strategy game in a sci-fi setting with a "rich, story-driven, party-based RPG campaign."

Players take on the role of commander of the Protectorate forces — a galactic power that seeks to "secure humanity's place in the galaxy":

Utilize the Protectorate's latest military technology and recruit seasoned stormtroopers and specialized crew members to your newly assigned flotilla. Then navigate the political turmoil of the Orion Sector, making difficult decisions to secure humanity's place in the galaxy.

The creators of ZeroSpace have prepared several factions, a campaign with 15 main story missions, 10 hero loyalty missions, and 15 side story arcs: "With choices and dialogue trees similar to Mass Effect and Baldur's Gate." During the campaign, players will be able to build relationships with characters from different factions.

The ZeroSpace page on Steam is available at the following link. The developers expect their project to remain in early access for about a year.
