The film “The Mandalorian & Grogu” is now available for purchase and rental in digital format. The picture was released on Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and other international platforms. The release date of the film in the Disney+ library has not yet been announced.
Two versions of the film are available for viewing: a standard version with an aspect ratio of 2.39:1 and an extended IMAX version in 1.78:1 format. The digital edition and the 4K UHD version also offer a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
The set of bonus materials includes four documentary videos about the making of the film. The creators talked about working on puppets, miniatures, visual effects and sound design, set construction, and the creation of the city of Shakari. In addition, the film received an audio commentary from director Jon Favreau.

“The Mandalorian & Grogu” continued the story after the third season of the series and became the first theatrical “Star Wars” film in seven years. The film earned $177.5 million in North America and $167.3 million in international markets. Total box office reached $344.8 million – this is the lowest result among films of the new “Star Wars” era, which began with “The Force Awakens.”
Physical editions on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD will go on sale on August 25. The next full-length project of the franchise will be “Star Wars: Starfighter,” scheduled for 2027.
