Ubisoft temporarily opens free DLC for The Division 2 and launches a major event

Ubisoft has unveiled a major Dust Storm event for The Division 2, which will run from July 21 to August 11. The main feature will be dynamic sandstorms that change Lower Manhattan and affect gameplay. Limited visibility, strong winds, and challenging conditions will force players to look at familiar locations in a new way.

A new faction, Dust Devils, will be added to the game – special "Rikers" squads that are better protected against ranged attacks. During the strongest storms, enemies will attack almost continuously.

Players will encounter two new bosses – Pall and Black Lung. Defeating them can earn Storm Keys and unique masks. Also, caches with valuable gear and a new Hunter, who attacks after the most powerful storms, will appear in New York.

For the duration of the event, the Warlords of New York expansion will be free for all players. And everyone who logs into the game from July 21 to August 11 will receive an exclusive Parched Mask as a gift.
