The first full trailer for the blockbuster "Avengers: Doomsday" garnered 503 million views worldwide within the first 24 hours of its release. This is the second-best result in cinematic history: the absolute record still belongs to the "Spider-Man: New Day" trailer, which accumulated 719 million views in its first day.
For Disney, the "Avengers: Doomsday" trailer has become a new absolute record holder. It surpassed the company's previous record, set by the "Deadpool & Wolverine" trailer, which garnered 365 million views during Super Bowl 2024.
The difference between the records is due to the rights to the Spider-Man films. Although Peter Parker is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony Pictures is responsible for the production, promotion, and distribution of his solo films. Therefore, the result of "New Day" is counted separately from the figures for projects released directly by Disney.
