Sony has released another system update for the PlayStation 5, version 26.05-13.60.00. The patch became available on July 23 and, as noted in the official update notes, contains no new features or significant changes to the console's operation.
According to the official changelog, the update includes only one improvement: "We have improved messages and usability on some screens". This concludes the list of new features. In its scope, this patch resembles the update released on April 23, which also focused on minor interface and usability improvements.
Following the update's release, users are also actively discussing it on social media.
It disables the disc drive, right?
Completely disabled software updates. Physical copies of games are why I bought so many PlayStation games in the first place. You've lost my trust.
Go to hell with your update. Don't come back without news about discs.
