Animated Series "Avatar: Seven Havens" Gets First Trailer and Release Date - The New Avatar Becomes Humanity's Enemy

News 2

At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Paramount+ and Nickelodeon unveiled the first teaser trailer for the new animated series in the "Avatar" universe – "Avatar: Seven Havens".

The events unfold after "The Legend of Korra" in a world that has experienced a devastating cataclysm. Civilization has survived only in seven havens, and the new incarnation of the Avatar is no longer considered a savior. People are convinced that the Avatar is responsible for the catastrophe and poses a threat to humanity.

The main character will be a young earthbender, Pavi, from the city of Allura. The girl discovers that she has become the next incarnation of the Avatar after Korra, but instead of honors, she gains the status of a dangerous fugitive. Together with her long-lost twin sister Nisha, she must uncover the mystery of her origin and save the last strongholds of civilization from destruction.

Franchise creator Bryan Konietzko said that the new series will differ from previous stories in the universe:

"We like to change the style and give each project its own character. It still feels like "Avatar," but the world itself looks completely different. To find out why, you'll have to watch the series."

The series will have a total of 26 episodes, divided into two books of 13 episodes each. "Avatar: Seven Havens" will premiere on October 29 on Paramount+. All episodes will be released simultaneously.
