Percy Jackson Season 3 to Premiere November 20 - First Look Revealed
The continuation will adapt Rick Riordan's novel "The Titan's Curse" for the first time.
Disney has announced the premiere date for the third season of the series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians." The continuation will debut on November 20, 2026, on Disney+. Along with the announcement, the company released a short teaser, and attendees of Comic-Con in San Diego were shown the first minutes of the new episodes.
The third season will bring to the screen the events of Rick Riordan's novel "The Titan's Curse." Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, and Grover will embark on a quest for two new demigods — Bianca and Nico di Angelo. The rescue operation will turn into a confrontation with the forces of the Titan Kronos, and the heroes will have to unite with Artemis's Hunters to prevent a new threat to Olympus.
One of the central characters in the continuation will be Thalia Grace, played by Tamara Smart. After a brief appearance in the second season, Zeus's daughter will receive a full storyline exploring her past and tense relationship with Percy:
"I was so excited to be in season two, but Thalia hadn't really developed as a character yet. Now we're developing what Rick created and wrote. There's a generational feud between her father Zeus and Percy's father Poseidon. Thalia turned out to be very multifaceted this season, so we worked a lot on her past."
Executive producer Dan Shotz also revealed that the creators will expand Annabeth's storyline, as she spends a significant part of the book separated from the main group:
"Annabeth is separated from the other heroes. We will expand the world, show where she is, and allow a new perspective on this part of the story."
"The Titan's Curse" will be adapted for the first time. The previous series of feature films concluded with the second book of the cycle — "The Sea of Monsters."
