Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige spoke about the future of the cinematic universe after the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga. According to him, the film "Avengers: Secret Wars" will form a unified reality with a clearer structure and will become a new starting point for viewers:
"The film will create a streamlined, simplified, unified universe that will be easier for audiences to follow. Some elements will seem familiar, but much will be completely new."
Judging by his words, Marvel intends to abandon the complex structure of the Multiverse Saga, whose events unfolded simultaneously in several realities, films, and Disney+ series.
The next major phase of the MCU is expected to be the Mutant Saga. Marvel is already preparing a reboot of "X-Men" under the direction of "Thunderbolts" director Jake Schreier, and also – these are rumors – plans for solo specials dedicated to mutants. But before that, viewers can expect "Avengers: Doctor Doom," which will be released on December 18, 2026, followed by "Avengers: Secret Wars" hitting theaters on December 17, 2027.
