God of War Laufey to be released in February 2027

Santa Monica Studio has confirmed that God of War Laufey, the first game in the series to feature a heroine instead of Kratos, will be released exclusively on PS5 on February 16, 2027.

Santa Monica Studio has officially confirmed recent rumors: God of War Laufey will be the first major PlayStation game next year. The release date was announced immediately after the panel at San Diego Comic-Con concluded.

Also, shortly before this, the head of Santa Monica Studio stated that after the release of the upcoming spin-off, players can expect a new game with Kratos, in which Faye's story will play an important role.
