Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson announced a joint composition with Eminem and Tupac Shakur, prepared for the Street Fighter movie, on the Today With Jenna & Sheinelle show.
The hosts asked how Tupac, who died in 1996, participated in the recording and whether the authors used artificial intelligence. 50 Cent replied that the original material was provided by the musician's heirs:
“I’m working on new music right now. We did something with Eminem and Tupac. This is material from his representatives, no artificial intelligence. They gave us the recordings.”
He added that Tupac's family and heirs liked the result, and the collaboration itself “will be released soon.”
The Street Fighter movie will take place in 1993, when Chun-Li seeks help from Ryu and Ken Masters, forcing them to participate in another World Warrior tournament. However, a conspiracy is hidden behind the competition, which will force the fighters to confront each other and their own past.
The project is directed by Kitao Sakurai, who previously worked on the series “Beef” and “Twisted Metal”. The cast includes Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, David Dastmalchian, and others. Curtis Jackson himself played Balrog – one of M. Bison's henchmen.
The Street Fighter movie will premiere on October 16, 2026.
