Catastrophe is Inevitable: The Final Cour of "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War" Has Begun

The premiere of the first episode of the fourth and final cour of the anime "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – Catastrophe" has taken place. With the release of the episode, it was confirmed that the final part will consist of ten episodes, which will conclude the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo's manga.

The plot brings the confrontation between the Soul Society and the Quincy army led by Yhwach to a climax. In the final chapter, viewers can expect decisive battles involving Yoruichi, Aizen, Kenpachi, and Urahara. The author of the original manga, Tite Kubo, actively participated in the production and previously promised that the final cour would feature even more new scenes expanding on the events of the last chapters of the source material.

The anime is still being produced by Studio Pierrot under the PIERROT FILMS brand. Tomohisa Taguchi serves as the chief director, and Shiro Sagisu, the franchise's regular composer, is responsible for the musical score. The opening theme "I-BULL" was performed by the musician jo0ji, and the ending theme "Rasen" was recorded by the singer 9Lana — Kubo personally participated in the selection of the musical themes.
