Lords of the Fallen II Publisher Confirms No Denuvo
Some PC gamers refuse to buy games if Denuvo is installed in them.
In July, IO Interactive studio pleased PC gamers. After the recent 007 First Light update, they noticed that the developers had removed Denuvo protection from the game.
This event began to be discussed on social media, as only two months had passed since the game's release. Publishers usually keep Denuvo much longer, even if hackers have already cracked the game.
Marek Tyminski, the head of CI Games, which is currently developing a sequel to the soulslike game, also reacted to this event. He confirmed that the PC version of Lords of the Fallen II will not have Denuvo protection.
Commentators supported the developers' decision and stated their readiness to "buy the game on day one".

A thousand years have passed since the Great Upheaval. For many years, Umbra consumed everything in its path, destroying peoples and civilizations, until only one kingdom remained in the sacred lands, protected by an ancient power. Alas, now the place where the survivors found temporary refuge is also in danger. The light fades, and the darkness thickens. Eternal night is approaching the world. A hero must rise for the god to fall.
