Recently, players noticed a TikTok post featuring a snippet of God of War Laufey star's performance at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). Actress Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Faye, shared a story from the set.
As it turned out, she broke an iconic item from The Last of Us Part II. According to Deborah, during filming, she was given a golf club as a prop. This sports equipment was previously used in a scene that greatly angered many players and still causes heated debates in the fan community.
Deborah was told to use it as an improvised "axe" and "chop down a tree" — during filming, the actress struck the club with such powerful blows that the prop eventually broke.
One community member stated that Deborah "broke a cursed artifact" — for some players, this is a reason to celebrate.
God of War Laufey is expected to be released next year exclusively on PlayStation 5 consoles. Judging by a recent hint, the developers plan to return to Kratos' adventures next time.
